Are we raising up a generation of students that will proclaim who God is to the generations to come? Here at NEBC Student Ministries that is our utmost desire! We strive to lead students to love God and others through studying God’s word, worship, fellowship, service, and fun events. Our goal is that as they grow in their walks with Christ they will openly declare and display God’s love to the world around them!
Wednesday Night Youth:
6:30-8pm – Wednesday Night Youth is our main teaching, worship, and hang out time for all 6th-12th grade students. Each week we meet in our Family Life Center (FLC) and lead the students in engaging live worship with our band, relevant, in-depth teaching from God’s word, and fun interactive games and activities.
8-9pm – After Youth, we keep the gym open for an addition hour of hang out time in our Family Life Center (FLC). We have a full court gym, game room with ping-pong, air hockey, and pool table, and a TV room where students can play Xbox or Wii. There is also a snack bar area for the students to hang out where we normally serve some sort of tasty after church snacks.
Current Wednesday Night Series:
Everyone has questions about death. It’s natural. And everyone has their own version of what the “afterlife” looks like. Our culture today sells us a jumbled mess of ideas when it comes to life after death, but what exactly happens when you die? In this series we are taking a detailed look at the “afterlife”, and what God’s word reveals about such topics as: death, judgment, heaven, hell, and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Sunday Mornings:
9-10am – Come join one of our age specific small group Sunday School classes where we dig deep into God’s word and challenge one another to live it out everyday.
Current Sunday Morning Series:
We are studying through the New Testament book of Acts, gaining a broad overview of the spread of the gospel from the first disciples in Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, and how we can get in on that mission today!
